My husband always has me cut his hair but always complains about where he has to sit when I do it because I have always had the hair clippers with a cord. The cord was only 3ft long so a lot of the time, he would have to twist and turn and just be uncomfortable because the cord wasn’t long enough. I finally decided to start looking for cordless ones. That’s when I found Self Hair Cut Clipper Pro System-rechargeable cordless system!
I never thought something so simple as a cordless hair cutting system could solve my world problems in my house but seriously it has put the complaining at bay. Anyhow this system is like any other hair cutting system except its wireless! It comes with the 6 standard hair combs for different lengths (1/8-3/4in). It also comes with a comb, cape, brush to clean the shaver and a guide to show you how to properly use it.
The shaver takes about 6 hours to full charge and last about 1 hour on a full charge. There is a red indicator light on it, that lets you know when it has been fully charged (it stays solid). As I started to get towards the end of the charge, it did start to slow down which was a nice little indicator to let me know, hey go charge it!
The best part of this cutting system to me is the rotation of the head. I noticed at looking at the reviews on amazon, nobody really showed how to work it so in my video towards the end I showed how the head rotates. It simply pops off and flips around. This is awesome because it makes it so much easier when you are doing your own head. You don’t have to do some weird cockeyed hand thingy to get a decent cut. It also makes it really nice so that it works for both left handers and right handers.
The bottom line is I love this. My 12 year can now cut his own hair (somewhat!) and feel accomplished about it. I don’t have to hear a complaining husband any more about cords! I recently really have taken an interest in essential oils. I had gotten some larger bottles that I really enjoyed but it became a pain to transport them everywhere because I dont have the proper case. I had looked at many other little bottles but I decided to settle on Island's Miracle 10 Aromatherapy Premium Gift Kit.
The reason I decided on this kit is because it has 10 small bottles of different flavors! This was really what drew me in. Its great for the times that you are indecisive or if you are needing a specific oil (alot cheaper than buying them all individually). The scents included are Frankincense, Lavender, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Orange, Peppermint, Tea tree (Melaleuca), Patchouli, Rosemary, and Silver Fir. It has a plastic piece on the inside of every bottle so that it drips out. This help ensures that you dont waste any of the oil when you are pouring it into a diffuser or using it for topical use.

Im not a connoisseur of honey. Usually I got for the cheap stuff cause I just using it for tea or minor things around the house. I never knew that there was such a thing as good honey! I recently had broke down and decided to try a different kind of honey. I was offered the chance to try UpNature's Raw Organic Honey. This comes in a glass jar with a seal across the lid so that you know it is unused when you get it. Being that its in a jar this makes the honey easier to heat if it needs to be liquefied and also it last longer. It lasts longer because the oils dont break down as fast. It has the nutritional facts as well as ingredients listed on the jar itself. There is nothing that they are hiding. It's unprocessed, raw, organic natural honey.
I compared it next to a plastic bottle of honey that I had gotten from Walmart. The texture of the Walmart versus this brand is quite moticeable. The Walmart brand honey is really thick and not so sweet. This honey has that beautiful amber color to it. When you get a spoonful of this, it is very light and airy. It coats my spoon nicely and dissolves in my hot tea at a nice quick rate. The taste of the honey is a very sweet natural taste that one would taste if eating it off the honeycomb.

I had gotten a painting from Asmork before and absolutely loved it. I wanted to get another one because my front hallway coming into the house was so empty looking. I needed something that was calming (most of the time my husband comes home from work wound up so he needs calm coming in house). This Southwest Asmork painting is just that!
This is 3 pieces that when combined together make a gorgeous painting. Each on is 14 inches tall by 9 inches wide. When placed next to each other it is about 2.5 ft wide. You can space them out or place the painting together like I did so width will vary depending on spacing. Each painting is ready to be hung as for it had the hooks on the backside.
Each pic is painted rather than printed on a canvass. You can see the texture of the paint as well as feel it when you run your hand across it. Each picture is 100% hand painted making each one unique in its own sense.
Overall the picture has done a great job of creating a relaxing state. I have gotten many compliments on it and it has alot of neutral colors that will work with any colored room. If there is one thing that I absolutely hate its the fact that Jack dips. Its not so much the dipping but the aftermath of him having to wipe his fingers somewhere after he gets a wad of the crap in his mouth. He looks to see if Im driving and then wipes it on his "shorts" which means that it touched my car seat because he didnt want it on his shorts. I was so glad to be able to get Leader Accessories Universal Bucket Seat Covers.
These are a very light weight polyester. They were actually alot easier to put on than others in the past Ive used. There are 4 pieces total-2 headrest pieces and 2 seat covers. The headrest cover simply slides over the headrest. When it comes to the seat cover, you will need to take off the headrest to get it on. Once you get it over your seat, you can snug it by securing it with the elastic bands and clips. It fits nicely around the seat belt lock and the side seat adjustment.
Quick note about when you put the covers on. There is no tag to say left or right to know which one goes on the driver/passenger side. There is a tag that says AIRBAG. That tag should be on the side of the door. This is how you know which seat cover fits over which seat. The only other con that I have is that depending on the headrest holes, you might have to cut the cover to make it fit.
Overall I am very pleased! It has saved my seats from nasty dip fingers. When washing it, I just ran it on the gentle cycle and hung it to dry (no heat in dryer if you do dry it.).

Ive had other manual choppers before and honestly they just didnt do it for me. They either didnt chop it or they fell apart within a couple uses. I decided to try a chopper one last time but this time I decided to get one that was a little different from the last kinds I had where you just push a button to chop. I decided to get Brieftons Quickpull food chopper because of a few features it had that I hadnt seen before.
This chopper is small yet very effective in its chopping. First off lets go over the parts of it. There is the container that holds the food. On one side of it is is marked in OZ (goes up to 29oz) and other side its ML. This container is used during the chopping process and you can also use it to store the chopped items after you are done.
Next we have the chopping blades. These are 3 stainless steel blades that are staggered at the bottom of the rod to give a multidimensional cut. The second piece is a blending piece. This is just all plastic and is used to blend all your chopped foods after you have used. Finally there is a fresh keep lid so that you can keep your food fresh after chopping and blending it.
So how well does it actually work? On the instructions, it is recommended that soft foods be broken down into golf ball sized and hard to chop foods to even smaller size. When it comes to chopping, you simply pull the green handle. It kinda of is like starting a lawnmower in terms of pulling it. The more you pull it and it retracts back in, making the blades turn. So first off yes I suck at nails. I do a lot of house projects so I rarely take care of my man nails. I figured I needed to start trying something with the holidays coming up. Fake nails always hurt like hell when I get them taken off so I figured I would give Born Pretty’s Holographic Laser Powder Nail Glitter Rainbow Pigment a try. Yeap I sucked at that too! Lol
When you get the pigment it comes in a tiny jar. From all the pics I saw of other peoples, they had a piece of paper over the top of the inside of the jar that kept the powder from being all over the place-mine didn’t have that so it looked like a unicorn pooped all over my hands when I opened the bag. There is a makeup applicator that comes with it that is used for patting on the powder.
So you’re probably wondering how does it work exactly. Well you DO need gel polish and a UV light (both which I have and used). I tried it with a blue base, a black base and a white base. Anyways the way it works- you need to apply the base color, then apply a gel top coat over that. Then cure them for about 90 seconds or so. Brush on the powder with the applicator and then seal it with top gel coat. I found that patting on the powder worked a lot better than brushing it on. Also don’t be scared to pile it on. I was using a little bit when I did my nail (see pic) and obviously it didn’t come out as well as it could have.
While I really like the look, I think Im just going to take it to my nail art pro and let her do it cause I suck at this and honestly it looks like crap on man nails. It does stay on and really looks good in the sun. Maybe when Im not working around my house and I get tips done, I will try it again (in which Im sure it will look a lot better!).
