I review everyday products from home and decor to makeup to make your life easier! Need an honest opinion about something~you have come to the right blog!
As most of yall know I have really long hair (well its semi long now cause I chopped 6 inches off so its just a little past mid back now). Anyways, my hair is naturally wavy and then I got to bed with it wet making it a horrible mess in the morning. I usually use a hair straighter to get it manageable but it took a poop on me. I recent got the HSI Ceramic Flat Iron and I love it!
This is pretty much like my other iron with a few enhancements. When you plug it in, it gets hot within a minute. On the inside of the iron is the temp gauge. It ranges from 140-450 degrees. I tend to put mine around 350. It does have an on/off switch so be sure to have it on when you plug it in ( i didnt first time and thought it was broken! lol)
So after its heated up, it works it magic. Usually it would take me 15 minutes and multiple strokes through my hair with my old iron. I can do my whole hair in under 5 minutes now and I dont have to "rework" over and over again to get it to be straight.
The best feature to me about this is the 360 swivel cord. I absolutely love that it moves with me. It doesnt kink up or get wrapped around my air when I am doing the opposite side of my hair (arm stretched across). The cord is heavy gauge so when I store it, Im not getting ugly kinks or knots in it.
Overall I think its a great buy! It works just as good if not better than Chi (Ive used both). It comes with a 1 year warranty as well as some other little goodies! If you want to buy it now or to read more reviews, just hit up the following link: https://www.hsiprofessional.com/collections/straightening-flat-irons-for-hair/products/ceramic-flat-iron-straightener?variant=839318175 I did get this at a full promotional discount for my unbias review in return.
Ive gotten other showerheads for review. This one is the one I like the most for sure! In my pics, I show the parts and then in my video I showed it installed and working. If you dont want to watch the video, just read below.
This is a dual head system (obviously by looking at pics. lol). The majority of the unit is plastic pieces. They do provide telfon tape so that you wont need to go to store to buy some. The instructions for it are super easy to read. It took me under 2 minutes to put it together and install it. One word of advice on the handheld part. If you are having issues with it being held in place, make sure that piece that holds it is the right way. At first, I was getting mad because it didnt fit and then when I flipped it the other way, it fit perfect. lol.
So once installed its easy to use. There is a controller that lets you change from one head to the other head. You can have it that the main one is on by itself, just the handheld by itself, but not both at the same time. On each head you can change the water flow to 5 different speeds- Power Rain, Pulsating Massage, Hydro-Mist, Economy Rain, and Water-Saving Pause.
The best part to me for this is the light coloring. The main head tells you basically what temp the water is. If its blue, its cold. If green, its warm and if red, its hot.
Overall its a nice showerhead. My only complaint is that you cant run both heads at once which would have been nice. Other than that, its great! You can buy this awesome showerhead at the following link : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQKMQAX. I did get this at a promotional discount.
Yall know that we are DIY people around our house. With that being said,we are always full of aches and pains! I had gotten a tens unit of these a couple years ago and knew that they worked (I just couldnt remember who I ordered it from!). I was so excited that better models have come out since.I ended up going with Santamedical PM-510 Tens Unit Electronic Pulse Massager with Rechargeable Battery.
When you get this, it does come with instructions however it is pretty self explanatory. It has two wires that each have two snap buttons at the end of them that two pads attach to (the pads also have these button snaps). The machine runs on a rechargeable battery. You can charge it like if you were to plug in your phone. The charger does come with in the package.
So going back to the machine buttons and how it works. There are two sides in which each side has 2 splits. Each split holds one pad so you can have 4 pads going at once. They cant be independently operated which wasnt a problem for me. If you look at my pictures (I also posted in the video), there are 8 different kinds of pulses. You have ones that are like kneading on your back. There is one for high performance of your muscles. There are 8 total. Each one has a specific job so be sure to read the booklet!
When it comes time to use it, its pretty to the point. The power button is on the top of the unit. Once it is on the middle silver button that has a play symbol starts the unit. If you want to change through the different pulses, you will need to press the play button to pause it. On the top left hand corner you will see a lock button. It that button is on then you wont be able to change pulses. By pressing the pause button, the lock button will disappear. This is when you are able to change through the pulses. To change the pulse, simply click on the button that says M (stnds for mode).
The T button is your timer. When turned on it starts at 20min. It is recommended you only do it 20 minutes a day, 1-2 times. You can always adjust your time lower by pressing the + and - symbols. Each pulse has a variation of how fast it pulses. When the unit is going you can adjust the intensity by using the + and - symbols. You however wont be able to adjust how fast it pulses in a time aspect.
There are 6 sticky pads that come with it (which is a nice thing to have considering 2 of us use it!). Something that this one had that my last one didnt have was a piece that you could store the sticky pads on when you are done. I really liked this extra piece cause over time the clear pieces that the sticky pads were stuck to get lost.
Overall jack approves (which is a huge thing!) as I do also recommend it.. I did order some more sticky pads for myself so that I can use more than 2 at a time.If you would like to read more reviews and buy it please click the following link : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LKVWOTW

I love rings especially ones that have lots of pretty sparkle to them. Jack buys me a new wedding band every year but I like to save those for special occasions. I tend to wear ones that are more durable (and not as valuable) when working around the house. When I saw Jeulia Crossover Pave Round Cut Created Sapphire Women's Wedding Band, I had to have it!
There are a couple reason why I had to have this band. The first reason being it for once was NOT a CZ stone ring! Dont get me wrong cubic zirconia rings are pretty but I wanted something that wasnt just cheap looking. This ring has 104 white sapphire stones. As you can see in the pictures, it has small rows of them and then larger rows of the stones. The stones are created in the lab but they look amazing!
The second reason I wanted this ring is for the durability of it. Being that they are white sapphire stones, they have a higher strength than zirconias. Zirconias are only an 8 where as these are rated at a 9. A diamond (the hardest stone) is rated at a 10 so you definitely want stones that are as close to a diamond as you can get if you are not getting an actual diamond.
So Ive talked about the stones but another big thing for me is what is the band part made from. Alot of times it cheap nickel that has been silver plated. There is absolutely no nickel in this ring! Its all sterling silver (which is great for me since I have allergies) so you dont have to worry about your fingers turning ugly Shrek green.
In terms of weight, the ring weighs about 7.5 grams. To some that might not seem like alot and to others it might be huge. Since I have big man hands, this really didnt bother me. Ive been wearing this for about 2 weeks now everyday for at least 10 hours a day. I do house remodeling work in it as well as daily chores. Other than a few scuffs on the band, there is no loss of stones or any other malfunctions.

So everyone now days is on a weight loss kick. They are either trying to use pills, wraps, and every other Godly think known to man. There truly are alot of things out there on the market so choosing one can definitely be a hard decision! I recently was able to try out Skinny Jane's Chocolate Skinny Blend.
Now I did a side by side comparison to a leading well know brand. Its the same flavors (both chocolate) and I did both of them with exact same amount of ingredients. By looking at my pics and video, you might not be able to tell the differences so lets go over them here. The one on the top is the competitor brand and one bottom is Skinny Jane.
The skinny jane first off takes less powder and liquid than the other brand. I did cut back on the other brand so that they were same amounts when testing them. When it comes to texture, Skinny Jane is alot lighter and airy. What I mean is that when you drink it, it doesnt feel like you are drinking sludge. Mixing Skinny Jane is really easy. I like that when I did mix it both electrically and manually with spoon, I didnt get clumps of powder like I did with the other brand. The one on the left is the competitor brand and one right is Skinny Jane.
When it comes to taste, Skinny Jane definitely doesnt have that overpowering chocolate taste. Its not chalky nor does it leave a nasty aftertaste in your mouth. To me it almost reminds me of chocolate milk-the nesquik chocolate that you mix it. In my video below you can see the texture differences (kind of!) lol
Looking at nutritional values, its pretty comparable to leading competitor. One thing that I did notice that I liked was that it has less carbs then its competitor which is important to me cause Im a carb watcher. The one on the top is the competitor brand and one bottom is Skinny Jane.
Overall I have come to like Skinny jane better than the ones I was using. Taste, carb count, and mixture solubility are the top reasons. If you want to learn more and to purchase Skinny Jane, please check out the following site: http://www.skinnyjane.com/skinny-blend-weight-loss-shake
I love makeup. Plain and simple. With that love, I need lots of storage room. I have trains that I use and love but sometimes I want a quick and easy one that I can carry around that isnt big and bulky. This case is perfect for that!
The case itself is 14 inch extra-long x 8 1/2 inches wide and 11 inches tall. It is all aluminum on the outside with metal locks (it has 2 small keys with it that can lock the case). The inside of the case is lined with foam that makes it a nice little sound barrier. There are these little foam inserts that can be moved so that you can make the compartments bigger or smaller depending on what you want to store. So in the video you can see that I moved one of the foam inserts so that some of my brushes would fit.
There is a shoulder strap that comes with it so that you can carry it that way or just hand carry it. It can be used for makeup or hair appliances such as curling irons or straighteners.
Overall I like it. Its small yet big enough to hold my quick and easy makeup supplies. Please feel free to watch my video below. If you want to read more reviews or buy it you can click on following link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYZSRCJ
