Tens Unit Handheld Electronic Pulse Massager - Excellent Muscle Stimulator for Electrotherapy Pain Management

My husband was recently in a 3 car pileup and to help his healing process, the doctor suggested that he get one of those pulse massager and use it every day that he isnt in physical therapy. I one a couple years ago but didnt remember where I got it from so when I got offered to review the Tens Unit Handheld Electronic Pulse Massager by Oixmeter it was like a heaven send at the perfect time!

When you get this, it does come with instructions however it is pretty self explanatory. It has two wires that each have two rods at the end of them that two pads attach to. The machine runs on 4 AAA batteries which do come with in the package. So going back to the machine buttons and how it works. There are two sides in which they are independently operated. On each side there is a switch that spins turning on the power. 1 is the lowest setting and 10 is the highest meaning its really powerful. There are different kinds of pulsings-massage, knead and beat. Massage feels like a humming, knead feels like when you take your knuckles and give someone a back massage, and beat is like thump thump thump. There are little pauses every 10 secs or so. You can adjust the speed so that it goes longer or shorter. At the top of the machine there are also different body parts that you can switch to because some have thicker muscles that others.

While this has been most helpful for my husband (he does 3 10 min intervals on his shoulder every night and dr thinks this has sped up the healing process) there is one down fall to it. After the first time of using the sticky pads, they dont quite stick as well the second, third, and on times making it harder every time for it to stay on especially when you are using them every night. Its not a bad product overall and I do recommend it. I did order some more sticky pads for myself so that I can use in also. With today's technology it seems like everyone including young kids have a cell phone. Even though everyone has a cell phone, they for some reason cost alot so protecting them is essential! I recently cracked my screen on my phone and had to pay a pretty penny to get it fixed. That's when I decided it was time to upgrade to a new phone case (one that actually protects!). I came across the chance to review the Belfon Soft Leather flip case in black for my Iphone 5s.

The Belfon case is different from others in a couple of different ways. First off its almost all leather. The only part of it that isnt leather is the back of the casing that the phone slips into. Attached to the back side of the plastic case is the leather cover. Once the phone is in the case, you cant see the plastic at all except for one instance (I explain that next). This to me is just an extra layer of protection for the phone.

Honestly when I got the case, I thought there was a little malfunction with the case because the back side of the phone case bends showing half of the plastic case. After re-reading the amazon posting, I feel silly. It is like this so that the phone can sit and an angle so that you can see it, so if you see this dont freight! This was the time that you will see the plastic casing but thats not a huge deal. (I used stock photo so you can see it all at once. lol)

The size of the case is comparable to the phone. Its definitely not big and ugly bulky. It also is super light weight. I think the thing that I like best about it is the flip cover on it. This is going to be my saving grace in regards to crack screens. lol. I say this cause if it falls face forward, it will have padding to take the hit rather than the screen. Same if it we to hit on a corner or any other part if it-the leather absorbs the shock rather than my phone. Anohter nice perk is that I can actually plug my charger in and use all my buttons on the phone without it being covered up!!!!

Overall this is a great phone case at a super affordable price. You dont need to spend a ton of money on other name brand phone cases that might or might not work. Kitchen Bitz Lemon Lime Squeezer - Cast Aluminium Citrus Press - Premium Quality Manual Juicer

If there is absolutely one must have in any kitchen, its a Lemon Lime Squeezer. How many times have you been trying to make something but dont have the right tools? Being that I live in South Texas, we love Mexican food. Mexican food has tons of spices to include lots of lime and lemons! When I was enlisted to help review the Kitchen Bitz Lemon Lime Squeezer, I was so excited!!!!!

Im not going to lie. I have another lemon squeezer that I have been using in the past because we have two huge lemon bushes in our yard. When I first got this one of the first things I noticed were the rubber grips on the handle. My other ones never had grips and honestly it makes alot more sense to me as to why the grips are on there! If you get wet hands and cant dry them right away, the grips will help keep the squeezer from sliding out of your hands.

The second reason is that it looked alot bigger than the one I had. When I got it I was right in the size. This one is alot bigger than my last one and makes it so much easier to use especially with Meyer lemons! The "pit" that holds the lemon is fairly large and the holes are small enough to let juice through but not the seeds.

Ponytail headband by Fast Mile

Living in South Texas, the weather is extremely bipolar. One moment it will be raining and cold then in two hours its hot and humid. The biggest issue I have with Texas weather is what it does to my hair. I dont even try to wear it in a cute style anymore-its just ponytails all the time. Even with wearing my hair in ponytails all the time, I get static hair like nobody's busy. I was so happy to be able to review the Ponytail headband by Fast mile. After looking at it, I thought this is it! This is what I have been needing!

So when I got this in the mail, it came in a very basic package. Its super easy to use and no instructions are needed. The ponytail holder is all one piece with no velcro straps or bands that will get caught in your hair, ripping it out. The hole were your ponytail goes through is large enough for gals with thick hair to be able to get all of their hair through it. The material is also soft so its not going to scratch your head or ears. 

                                       

So I realize that this is to be used for events such as playing sports. I play basketball and I did use it for my games but one other thing that I have found it to be great for is when you are putting on makeup. I used to wear a wig cap to keep all my hair from my face when doing my daily face. I have found that this works better and its alot easier to put on. It keeps all the stray hairs from your eyes making it better to apply makeup and not have that annoying stray hair get caught in your foundation.

I know in my pics I wasnt wearing it over my ears like its supposed to but I have some issues with my ears and I dont like things over them. It still worked great!

Thin Botanical Wraps

So we have hear about this crazy idea that has been going around how you can lose weight and tighten your skin but just doing "wraps". One major company sells 4 wraps for $60. To me that seems a little high especially for something I dont if its even going to work. When I was given the chance to review Thin Botanical wraps, I jumped on it. I thought this is awesome. Ive seen the pictures and Ive talked to people about so now this is my time!

When I got the wraps, I was a bit surprised. I got 5 wraps in total (which was pretty cool cause I was reading it takes about 3 days to see results). When I finally took them out of the package, I was a little shocked. They werent what I was expecting to say the least. lol. On the wraps they were folded into thirds. Each piece had a plastic piece on it that you had to peel off. This became a challenge for especially when applying it. The first one I had peeled off all the pieces at once so I could put it on at once. That proved to be a stupid move on my part. lol. Get got bunched up and kept sticking to itself. After I finally got it on, it stayed on so thats a positive. The second time I did it, I peeled each part off individually as I laid it across my stomach. This worked better however, the wrap went on crooked.

Ok so for the actual wrap itself. Its about 13 inches long and 7.5 inches tall. It has a little hole in the middle of were your belly button is to be. This is a good idea for people that dont have large belly buttons, outies, or belly rings. Its not nice trying to put it on and make sure the hole is over the hole-it takes coordination.

So the directions on it are pretty simple. Peel, place and wear for 6-8 hours (basically a normal work hour schedule). It goes nicely under your clothes and it doesnt snag or cause any ugly stains on your clothes or skin. I wore mine for about 8 hours everyday. I did this for all 5 days in a row. I personally did not see any results. It was weird though pulling off the wrap and seeing all my veins and stretch marks on the wrap (kinda cool looking lol). Im not posting pics of my results because honestly there were no results.

I think these wraps would work for people that are already in shape or thin. If you have  had a baby, gastric surgery, or are a little bit overweight, it might not work for you. I say might not because just cause it didnt work for me doesnt mean it wont work for yall. I really had wished it did but not everything you get to review is good.

Xandau 24k Gold serum

So if you are like me and an avid reviewer you have had your fair share of facial serums to review. AT this point, you are probably wondering what sets any of them apart anymore. I thought the same thing until I was given the chance to review Xandau 24k Gold serum. This one is seriously different from any other I had tried! When I got this the first thing I noticed, is the gold specs in it. Its hard not to notice them. It almost looks like glitter in it but when you put it on, it disolves so you dont look like Edward from Twilight. lol. Anyways the next thing that I noticed is that it has an air pump on it meaning that if you let your mom use it or someone else use it, yall wont be cross contaminating making it more sanitary to use.

So when I went to use it, I was afraid that I might have some sort of allergic reaction to it since I am allergic to gold. I have not had any type of issues (its such a small amount that it wont hurt you). The smell of the serum is amazing! Its like as if you just got a dozen roses delivered to your room and you rubbed it all over your face.  Its not overwhelming but it does give off a very feminine smell. 

The actual serum works amazing. Its super easy to use and about after a week or so you will start noticing a difference in your skin. There were no directions but its pretty basic how to use it. When you use it put it on clean skin (clear of all makeup and other products) and I used a couple of pumps to get all of my face. I use the product at night so that I can get the full effect of it.

Booty Fresh

My hubby and sons work outside building stuff all the time. Boys naturally smell and being in the Texas heat during the summer, booties get smelling like horse poop that has been bottled up for weeks. It happens to everyone down here because of the heat and humidity. So wen I was given the chance to review Booty Fresh, I jumped on it!

At first my husband was like hell no you arent spraying my butt with that! After much convincing and promises, I got to spray it. Thank you sweet Jesus! If I could buy this by the gallon, I would! It doesnt really have a smell to it-kinda smells like water. I know that sounds weird like does water really have a smell. lol.

 Its easy to use. Just spray it on your bum, take a shower, wash it off. You can also spray it on, let it sit for 5 min, and rinse after if you dont want to shower. I admit, I didnt think it was going to work all that well but after using it on my boys, Im a believer! I SO recommend this! Your butt and everyone elses noses will love you! Dont get this mixed up with your hair products or perfumes cause it has a spray bottle tip on it. lol.

Sublime Line Smoother and Rapid tightner

If you are like me and freak at the first sign of old age skin, then you need to perk up! I was given the chance to review two amazing products that really do work! For the past so many years Ive been using preparation h to smooth out those little wrinkles around my mouth and crows feet around my eyes. NO MORE!!!!! lol

So the two products I got were Sublime's Line Smoother and Rapid Tighter. When you first get them they come in a very pretty black satin bag. They might seem like the same thing but they arent! I like to use the line smoother around my eyes  and mouth (smile wrinkles). I like to use the rapid tighter on my forehead and cheeks for that instant feeling.

They are pretty easy to use. With the line smoother, you put it on twice a day (once in morning and once at night). I use maybe half a dime size(one pump) and it goes a long way. With the rapid tighter, you just need to apply it as needed so if you need to use it a couple times a day, its not going to hurt you!

Both of the serums are very thin,light and airy feeling. Drugstore lotion feels alot heavier then this. When you put it on, it dries very fast and you cant even feel it! I love how I can use my moisturizer and put my makeup over it without having to worry about it not working.

Overall I love these two products. They work efficiently on young and old. My mom tried it out a couple of times and it worked great for her also! Sublime Beauty Salicylic Acid Wash

As I age it seems like my skin gets oiler and oiler as if I was a teenager again! I have certain spots of dryness too though. Shopping for a facial wash that combats both without causing my dry skin to get even dryer is a real challenge! I was given the chance to review Sublime Beaity's Salicylic Wash. 

This wash is great for women and men! I have combination skin-its oily on my cheeks and fore head but dry on my nose, eye area and chin. It becomes a pain having to find something that has the right PH balance to it thats not going to cause more dryness or more oil. Its gentle enough that I can use it a couple times a day without causing harm.

Most of these washes have yucky smells. I really like the smell of this. Its not overwhelming but it has a slight fragrance to it-cant quite put my finger on the scent. lol. A little bit of these goes a long way!!!! The wash itself comes in a 2 oz bottle and it has a pearl look to it. 

I have been using it on my face for about a week and I have noticed a difference. In my video you will see the oil sheet being grossed up but truthfully thats alot better than what it used to be. lol. I started also using this with a loofa on my hubbys back and it has help alot! He gets bad breakouts so remember its not just for faces!!!!

4 position baby carrier by Family First Enterprises

Baby carriers have come a long way in the past eleven years since I had my son. Now days they have everything you could think of! Research has also come a long way in identifying that babies are healthier and happier the more bonding they have with their parents. Baby carriers are a great way to bond with your child and both mom and dad can use them! I was very pleased to be able to try out the 4 position baby carrier by Family First Enterprises for a review.

First off, I love the simplicity of the colors of these baby carriers. They come in blue, pink or beige. There are no funky patterns or weird looking colors that dont match anything so this is awesome because anyone can carry the baby! Unlike other baby carriers, this one comes with a booklet that teaches you how to do the different positions.

So lemme jump into the positions. The first position you have is the breastfeeding position. This is a very discrete position and there is a little hood that you can put on the top of the carrier (kind of like a hat) that will cover the baby and your breast so if you are out in public, you can openly breast feed. This position can also be used for sleeping babies. I know mine personally feel asleep many times in my arms like that. The second and third positions are pretty basic. You can care your baby like as if you were wearing a backpack on your pack or carry them face in on your front towards your chest. The last position is face out in front so that you baby can be stimulated and see everything going on.

The thing that sets this apart from other carriers I think is the straps on it. On the ones Ive seen they might have the adjustable straps around the arms but they didnt have the adjustable waist strap like this one has. The only complaint I have about the waist strap is that it needs to be a little bit longer for plus size gals. Im 6'3 and wear a size 24 and I couldnt get it clipped. I know  most women after giving birth dont lose their baby fat right away.

I think this product definitely has great potential. Its going to last you a long time as for you can use it from the infant stage all the way into the toddler years! Soapbox Acai Berry Shampoo and Conditioner

Ive always heard good things about Soapbox and I was given the chance to review two of their products through Influenster recently. Now I wasnt sure exactly which ones I was going to get as per it was surprise! I was so happy to get Acai Berry Shampoo and Conditioner.

In case you dont know on the back of every shampoo and conditioner there is a special code. That code, they supply a month of clean water to a village in need! How awesome is that! Anyways back to the review. The shampoo is thick and has a very berry smell to it. When you use it, it creates a small later and after rinsing it, I really couldnt smell the berry scent.

The conditioner is very light in texture. It also smells very berry and leaves a slight berry smell after you rinse it out. When you put the conditioner on, its very lightweight and doesnt feel like you have anything in your hair.

Honestly I wouldnt buy this in store if it was up to me. While it smells good, it just doesnt give my dyed hair the moisture it needs. Ive been using it for about 2 weeks and really havent noticed a difference. The only reason why I would buy it is because of they donate clean water to villages in need. Bod Smith Children's Liquid Multiple Vitamin

If your child is anything like mine then getting them to take medicine is a hassle! My son already takes meds in the morning and he absolutely hates swallowing. When I was given  the chance to review Bod Smith's Liquid Children's Multiple Vitamin I was so happy because I could finally get him to take his vitamins without a fight every morning!

When I ordered I knew it was going to be a big bottle but I guess seeing it in person is alot different. This is a 32oz bottle which means its a 20oz bottle of coke plus a 12 oz can of coke added together. It seems like a lot but once you read the directions, you realize its only a month to two months worth. If you child is over 50 lbs then its a months worth because you are giving them an oz a day. If you child is under 50lbs then it will last you 2 months because you are giving them only half an oz.

So the real test came when it was time to give it to my son. He wasnt to thrilled about the color of it (its like a brown color) but it does taste like grape! I told him not everything that doesnt look good isnt good. He really enjoyed the taste of it (I think most kids love grape flavored anything. lol). Be sure to shake it up before giving it out because the vitamins do settle on the bottom of the bottle. Also dont forget to refrigerate it after opening!
