Kelley General Expandable Flexible Garden Water Hose, 75'

Living in South Texas as some of yall may know is hard. We dont get 4 seasons a year which might be meh to some but great to me! I love being able to swim almost the entire year and I love to see my roses in bloom at least 8 months out of the year. With having so many things that need water in Texas heat, I got tired of the old fashion hoses that would knot up and get crispy after sitting in the sun. I was absolutely in heaven when I found Kelley General Expandable Flexible Garden Water Hose in 75 foot length.

To some it might seem silly to get so excited over a hose but not to those of us that know the struggle. The struggle of having to pick up the old fashion hoses, lugging them around the yard, trying to work out the knots in them so the water runs right. With KG's 75 foot expandable hose, there are no more knots. The way it works is when the water is off, it is crunched up. It doesnt take up alot of room at all and it looks crinkly. When the water starts to run through it, it expands to the full 75 feet (the hose looks solid rather than crunchy).

There are many other features about this hose that I like that other traditional hoses dont offer. For example, this one has brass headings on them so they wont deteriorate over time. It also has a cut off valve at the top of the hose so that if you need to take off an accessory, you wont be taking a bath. 

An added bonus to this, is the water head gun that comes with it. Most other hoses dont offer this. This gun has 7 different settings to include shower, flat, center, mist, jet, cone, and full. This means that you can adjust your water pressure to how you want it to go.

Mhyne Home Goods Multipurpose Mat

If you have animals or kids (maybe your kids are your animals. lol) then you know how mess things can get around your house. I recently adopted two 5 month old kittens and have 2 older cats (one who is special). They dont know how to eat without making a mess because they are worried that I might forget to fill up their unlimited supply of food. The place mat I had under the bowls wasnt cutting it. I decided to give Mhyne Home Goods Multipurpose Mat a try.

When I got this tray, I guess I hadnt read it all the way cause it was a hard plastic (which was fine by me!). It reminds me of the tray that they use on the bottom of those wire pop up dog kennels. Anyways, this one is approximately 2.5 feet long by 2.25 feet wide. Its a hard plastic with little grooves in it. 

When it comes time to cleaning this bad boy, its super easy. All I used was a clorox wipe and boom, I was done cleaning it! Its so easy to wipe down. If it gets really dirty, you can always take it outside to spray it down. It holds my kitties water bowl as well as food bowl and treats. It keeps my floor from becoming a slip n slide in the middle of the night.

ChiroDoc - UltraCool Cushion For Car and Office - Coccyx , Tailbone and Back Pain Relief

I sit on my hiney alot because I work at home as well as homeschool my preteen. Being that I am 6'3 and fat, my back and tailbone take a beating. I have a nice chair but months of sitting on it for so long its become uncomfortable and flat as a pancake. I took a chance and ordered ChiroDoc - Coccyx cushion. OMG!

So I never knew just how much discomfort I was throwing on my back and tailbone. I get in my hot tub every night cause of the pain and well I never thought it was cause of my lack of support back there. 

The ChiroDoc cushion is great for a couple of reasons. First off it has a nice mesh covering that keeps your bum from sweating. There is nothing worse that standing up and having the batman signal on your shorts cause you sweated so bad. Another plus is that it has a zipper so that you can take off the covering to wash it when it starts to smell like 5 day old undies. 

The next thing that I really enjoyed about this is that its made from memory foam. This means that no matter how long you sit on it, its still going to be fluffy once you stand up (it springs back to shape). The cushion is roughly 3-4 inches thick so you are definitely getting support. After sitting on this for 8 hours a day, I can honestly say that its helped me alot!

Now I must say that looking at reviews on Amazon, I noticed alot of people using it incorrectly. The way it works is that the hole is to the back of the chair and the hump is to the front. The reason for this is because it relives pressure off your tailbone by lifting your hips into equal platform. Our hips are not naturally aligned with our tailbone so with us sitting in the hole, it makes this happen taking pressure off.

So overall my view of ChiroDoc Coccyx cushion is that its a lifesaver. Its going to save you trips to the chiropractor to get your back realigned. If you want to save money, click here to order it now off Amazon!

Surpahs 5L Non-Slip Salad Spinner

If there is one thing that is a must have in the kitchen, its a salad spinner. Most people would think yeah right. Whats so special about a salad spinner that I need one? Well it saves time and saves you the headache of having wet food all over your plate (I hate when the water mixes with the rest of my dry food!). I have used a couple in the past but recently I got Surpahs 5L Non-Slip Salad Spinner and Im in love!

One would think that all salad spinners are the same-so not true. This salad spinner is amazing for a couple different reasons. First off this is the first salad spinner that I have ever owned that has a stop button on it. The stop button is for when its in a spin and say you forgot to add something to the mix. You can simple press the stop button and it stops the spinner in mid spin so you dont have to wait.

The next thing about this that I like is the handle. The handle is very easy to grasp. It also has a lock and unlock button on it so that you can lay down the handle to get a better grip on it to actually use it. I leave mine unlocked when I stick it in the fridge cause it just fits better. As for how well its spins, its great! The inside basket has a snap lid on it so the lid wont fly off the top in mid spin. This is also nice because you can snap on the lid and shake excess water off after you run it under water (then of course use spinner to get all water off!).

The spinner does a fantastic job getting all the water off and keeping your salad crisp (over saturated lettuce gets mushy). Surpahs Manual Swing Mini Blender, Spice Chopper, Food Processor

I love to cook and I love my kitchen appliances just as much as I love cooking! There are a couple things that I am actually missing from my appliance list and a food chopper just happens to be one. I normally would chop my stuff by hand but it becomes alot work when you have alot of chopping to do. I was very appeased when I was offered Surpahs Manual Swing Mini Blender, Spice Chopper, Food Processor for review!

First off this is a mini chopper that is a manual one. No batteries are required-just the force of a hand. It is really easy to use ( I will show how to in video down the page). It claims that it chops garlic, ginger, nuts, fruits and veggies. The chopper has 2 little stainless steel blades in it that twirl as you move the green handle on the top back and forth creating a have circle chop. There is a nice little finger groove that you can place your fingers to rest when your other hand is moving the green handle piece back and forth.

So like I mentioned earlier, it states it chops nuts. I decided to start off with jalapenos since they were getting too soft and I needed salsa. The first pepper I tried, I didnt cut into smaller pieces (I just cut it in half and threw it in there). That didnt work out so well on my end. The second pepper I had prepped by chopping it into 1 inch pieces. While this did better it, it didnt chop the pepper up the way I expected it. I was quite disappointed. I tried a garlic clove after my video. It also didnt chop up at all.

While this chopper looks cute and is mini for space storage, I cant recommend it at this time. It couldnt even chop a jalapeno pepper that I had pre-cut. At that point I should have just finished chopping it myself. So as for rating for this- I give it maybe 2 stars out of 5. Surpahs X-CUT 4 In 1 Multifunction Vegetable & Fruit Chopper, Slicer, Dicer

Normally when I cook I use my knives to do my chopping, dicing and slicing. Too many times, I have almost cut off my fingers and one time I actually cut off my knuckle! I needed a safer way to do this. I have had other choppers but they only used 1 head so I wasnt able to do much with them (they ended up in trash). Surpahs X-CUT 4 In 1 Multifunction Vegetable & Fruit Chopper, Slicer, Dicer has been an absolute life saver!

So first off, it does come with instructions but I have included a video at the bottom of this article to show how it works from start to finish and how all the different blades cut. There are 4 different types of blades that give you 4 different cuts along with 2 different push down guides (the grey blocks). 

The different types of cuts that you can achieve are a thicker cut for things like french fries. A medium block cut for smaller square cuts. A small block for cube shaped cuts. Finally a wedge cutter for all your fruits. The wedge cutter does have a specific grey block that goes with it so that you get the perfect cut every time. 

Taking this apart is super easy and it can go in the dishwasher with no problems. Each blade is stainless steel so it wont rust over time and become useless. Set of 3 Tall Amber Glass Hurricane Candle Holders, Decorative Sphere Ball for Wedding Centerpiece and Home Decor, White Ball Candles Included

I had gotten these hurricane lights to review. First off they are absolutely gorgeous! They are alot heavier than expected and really well made.

The tallest one stands at 16 inches, then 14 inches and then 12 inches. I know in my video you really cant tell but thats cause of my fireplace and the angle its at. Each glass is made from a hearty glass which is what gives it the weight. The opening of the glass is approximately 5 inches across so you can definitely fit your hand in there to be able to interchange out candles.

 There are bulb candles that come with it but after they melt down you can put others in there. As for the melting down of these candles, I didnt notice any major dripping with them meaning they wont create a huge mess.

The stems of the glasses are sprayed with a gold glitter spray paint. The paint however doesnt chip off when scratched. These would look great on a table as a center piece or in a fireplace like I placed them. They are well worth the price that they are selling for.
